Who We Serve

We use a comprehensive approach when utilizing the best practices of ABA therapy. Because of this we can provide you and your child a tailored experience that best suits their individual needs. This ensures a well-rounded experience that is driven by our promise to teach your child skills for life.

We serve children, ages, 0 to 21 years, with developmental delays and disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. A client may or may not already have a diagnosis of a developmental delay. However, a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder will be required if the client’s family is seeking reimbursement through insurance. To learn more about how we work with insurance check out our resources page!

We utilize ABA to target the symptoms of these diagnosis that require support for the client to be fully independent in all settings. These delays may be in one or more of the following areas: speech and language skills, adaptive/ self-help skills, play skills, social skills, academic skills, or motor skills.

Neurodiversity

Neurodiversity is a way to describe the complexities of the human brain. Terms that are an extension of this movement are; Neurodivergent and Neurotypical. It is a more inclusive method of thinking because it focuses on the variety of ways a brain can develop. This way of thinking, which started in the 1990s, has become a movement rooted in the empowerment of people with developmental disabilities. Neurodiversity focuses on highlighting positive attributes that a different developing brain can have.

3
ADHD

The National Institute Of Mental Health defines ADHD as "a disorder marked by an ongoing pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning or development." This diagnosis is very common in school-age children but it is not exclusive to children. Often adults who were diagnosed young will still have symptoms into their older age. It is also common for adults to have gone undiagnosed at an early age and still be affected by the symptoms. This is why we provide a variety of support that is effective for a wide age range of clients.

2
Autism

The American Psychiatrics Association defines Autism Spectrum Disorder as "a complex developmental condition that involves persistent challenges in social interaction, speech and nonverbal communication, and restricted/repetitive behaviors". It is important to remember that the symptoms of Autism look different in every individual. Because of this, each person has their own personal support needs. That's where we come in. We are happy to talk through you or your families needs and see how we can help.

How We Can Support You

We serve clients in a variety of settings, as determined through consultation with caregivers and other professionals. Services can be provided in one setting consistently, or across multiple settings based on the needs of clients and their families.

Our ABA consultants and technicians receive comprehensive training in behavioral theory, reinforcement, the application of discrete trial training, the nuances of prompting and fading prompts, behavior management, generalization, maintenance of acquired skills, and interactive play with peer groups and social development. In addition, continuous refresher training courses and research on new techniques are provided to maintain high standards of quality of services.

Our Clinic

Our founder, Debra Bryant, has been operating in the St. Louis areas since 2001. After recognizing the overwhelming need our community faced we opened our center doors 7 years ago. From that moment on, we have upheld the highest standard of care. Our vision of "teaching skills for life" is the driving factor of all of our clinic services. Our clinic currently has 6 active classrooms and serves 60-80 kids each day.

ESDM

ESDM stands for Early Start Denver Model. It focuses on helping children excel in their natural environment through child-led, play-based methods. It targets all aspects of development and utilizes key ABA principles.
We are proud to offer this program in three different classrooms under an ESDM certified BCBA. Utilizing this methodology in a clinic setting allows kids to be immersed in a social environment.

We have seen great progress for our in-clinic clients using this method specifically in receptive and expressive communication, social skills, play skills, fine and gross motor skills, and adaptive skills. This methodology is based on peer-to-peer relationships and focuses on a child's internal motivation. Letting our clients lead fulfills our vision by laying a foundation that teaches skills for life.

PEAK

PEAK stands for Promoting Emergence of Advanced Knowledge. It is based around the idea of self-guided learning through comparison, equivalence, and imitation. What makes PEAK unique is its focus on child-led learning. It is designed to guide students in a way that fosters independent thought. We have seen growth in language, reading, math, reasoning, and inference.

This curriculum is currently offered in two different classrooms and runs under the direction of a Level 2 PEAK certified BCBA. Utilizing this methodology in a clinic setting allows kids to experience a more structured learning experience. This fosters learning skills that can be utilized throughout a child's future. utilized between the ages of 2-17.

Social Skills Group

We offer a variety of social skills groups that incorporate the Socially Savvy Curriculum, Skill streaming Curriculums, as well as the Social Thinking Curriculum. As children enter adolescence, we are excited to integrate technology that allows for self-monitoring of target behaviors to build awareness, incorporate student goal-setting, and ultimately produce meaningful, translatable social behavior improvement.

Individual Rooms

One of our goals as a company is to help our clients gain autonomy over their lives. To do this we understand that each one of our client's support needs look different. That is why we provide an individualized classroom that utilizes a tailored curriculum specific to that client's needs.

It is an extension of the already proven methodologies that are utilized in our other classrooms. This could include but is not limited to, ESDM, PEAK, or Discrete Trial Training. Another benefit to this individualized approach is that we can pull curriculum from multiple different methodologies to create a well-rounded learning experience.

LEAP Preschool Program

LEAP stands for Learning Experiences and Alternative Program for Preschoolers and their Parents. Our goal is to meet all of our clients where they are with their current needs. This truly inclusive environment provides support for any child no matter their level of need. This model is both behaviorally and developmentally appropriate for teaching all children within an inclusive early childhood environment. Learning is child-centered which helps bridge learning at home and school. Children engage in learning through play, peer modeling, and social interaction. Learning activities are selected based upon the needs, interests, and developmental levels of individual children within the classroom.

The curriculum is modified, classroom materials are adapted, and instructional materials are altered to support all student participation. In this model, all children are given opportunities for independence and autonomy, while also engaging in collaboration and building a classroom community.
